Down by the Bridge is a welcoming gathering place on the north shore of Prince Edward Island, nestled along the shoreline of the Winter River where it flows into Tracadie Bay, its name comes from a familiar “locals landmark”, giving it an effortless, conversational feel. It’s a place people naturally know and love that is ready to host the making of new stories and memories. Down by the Bridge offers an experience that feels both grounded and special, without ever trying too hard.
The Venue will be ready to host not only weddings, but also concerts, town halls, fundraisers, corporate off-sites, speaker series, political events and community celebrations.

Down by the Bridge offers two indoor venues as well as two outdoor venues on the property, as well as access to lodging, shuttles, catering, meeting spaces and services of Blackbush Beach Resort, just a few minutes away. This reflects a natural evolution of our goal to offer visitors and Islanders and experience that represents the very best of Prince Edward Island.
